What Will I be Doing?

The Manager Social Media for HGV operates a social media center of excellence that is responsible for all facets of social media including, but not limited to, customer management, content creation, influencer management, employee advocacy, executive communications and reporting.

The Social Media Manager reports to the Sr. Director Social Media and leads a team of specialist as they support the global strategy for a leading brand in the hospitality industry.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

We're looking for a seasoned social media manager who demonstrates strong communication and leadership skills with experience in the following areas:

  • Proven track record of sound decision making during social media crisis
  • Building efficient compliance and governance protocols
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral, with c-suite level exposure
  • Social Media copy writing experience for both brands and executives
  • Successful leadership of customer engagement programs that collaborate with multiple departments for case resolution
  • Thriving global employee advocacy programs

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the community engagement program, aiming to maintain the same high-standard of service Hilton is known for
  • Expand existing employee advocacy programs to improve its potential
  • Responsible for programs such as social media compliance and governance for our global organization
  • Represent social media in the crisis management committee
  • Enhance existing processes to continuously find efficiencies and improve performance
  • Stay ahead of upcoming platforms and channel functionality to make informed recommendations for our brand's approach
  • Other duties as assigned

This role will be mostly work-from-home, but will be required to be available in the Orlando area for in-person events and office days.

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:

  • 5-7 years related experience
  • 4+ years managerial experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with SM management tools such as Sprinklr.
  • Experience running SM CoE for a global organization.
  • Flexible schedule.
