Role Summary/Purpose:

Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Marketing Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within our Marketing Organization, our Document & Content Management team oversees the creation, updating, maintenance, and storage of various content and communications. We are seeking an experienced Print Production Manager to join our Team. This role will coordinate between internal teams, clients, and print suppliers to deliver high-quality, error-free printed materials on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, an in-depth understanding of printing technologies, great attention to details and the ability to thrive in a fast pasted environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Work within SYF-selected print suppliers to deliver best in class collateral through estimating, scheduling, audits, quality control, sample gathering and invoicing.
  • Liaise with Program and Project Managers within the DCM Team to deliver various printed collateral to its specified location(s).
  • Partner with Supplier Management to execute cost reduction.
  • Recommend time and cost saving opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects and provide agency-like support for multiple product/client teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while always adhering to the stated processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company's PO and invoice management procedures.
  • Drive continued COSMOS (Workfront) adoption and consistent usage by team and clients, including compliance with records retention requirements
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of Marketing or Digital experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in print production management
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience managing supplier relationships
  • A minimum of 3 years managing budgets
  • A minimum of 2 years in a PM platform such as Workfront or the equivalent

  • Demonstrated project management skills using agile framework.
  • Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles.

Grade/Level: 09

The salary range for this position is 60,000.00 - 112,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
