St. Edmund's Academy 

Finance Associate

Start Date - August 2024

St. Edmund’s Academy seeks a dedicated and dynamic individual to fill the role of Finance Associate. Candidates will demonstrate an enthusiasm for work in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with administrative staff and teachers is essential. This full-time staff position will fulfill a number of responsibilities related to business operations and academic student information system database management. This position reports to the Manager of Business Operations. We are looking for someone who shares our Core Values and who will support the mission of the school through their work.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Calculating and posting business transactions.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Verifying financial data for use in maintaining records.
  • Clarifying questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
  • Preparing monthly cash receipts and banking entries.
  • Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
  • Database management.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks on-time.
  • Ability to keep and maintain accurate reports and records.
  • Experience with standard computing tools, such as Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with database management.
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud software preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience required.
