Trumark’s Director of Finance will Manage and oversee the organization's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. This person will ensure the company remains financially solid and has the resources to meet its commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed reports on financial performance weekly and/or monthly. These reports can include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements and provide analysis that is critical information for the C-suite to make informed decisions.
  • Manage the loan process from sourcing to completion and continue managing the credit facility and borrowing base updates.
  • Partner with the VP of Finance and CFO to manage and underwrite other homebuilding capitalization, including land banking and joint ventures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial covenants. This includes implementing additional reporting, policies, and procedures to meet this responsibility.
  • Responsible for analyzing short-term and long-term capital needs for a large-scale homebuilder with over $1B in revenue in 4 markets.
  • Report existing pipeline of land deals with future deals and possible Acquisitions in other markets.
  • Helped lead the finance team, providing guidance and training. This role could involve mentoring and developing staff.


  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting is required.
  • 7-10 years in homebuilding, preferably with public or large private companies.
  • CPA is preferable but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software products and Newstar is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
